Ghizo Labs publishes the WordPress plugins described on this site and sells licences for their paid tiers. Reach us at [email protected] about anything on this page.

What a licence is
A licence is a one year term that entitles you to updates and support for one paid plugin on one production site. It is not permission to use the software: the software is GPL, and the GPL already gave you that.
Local, staging and development copies of a licensed site are included and are not counted as activations.

The software is GPL
Every plugin here, free and paid, is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later. You may read it, modify it, and keep running it for as long as you like, including after a licence expires. You may also redistribute it under the same licence.
What you may not do is use our name, wordmark or artwork to present your copy as ours.

Licence keys and activations
Your key is yours. Activating it records the site it is activated on, so that the activation count can be enforced and so we can help when something goes wrong.
Publishing a key, or using one across more production sites than it covers, is the one thing that will get a key revoked. If that happens you keep the software; you lose updates and support.

Term, renewal and cancellation
A licence runs for twelve months from the day you buy it. It does not renew by itself and no card is charged without you choosing to renew. We will email you before the term ends.
When a term ends the plugin keeps working exactly as it did. Updates stop arriving and support ends until the licence is renewed.

Payment and tax
Prices are in United States dollars. Any sales tax, VAT or equivalent is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay, and appears on your receipt.

Refunds
Thirty days, no questions asked, as described on the refunds page. That page is part of these terms.

Support
Support is email, in English, for the plugin you hold a licence for. What it covers and what it does not is set out on the support page.
We answer licence holders within one business day. That is a commitment about answering, not about how long a fix takes: some fixes need a release.

Your data
The plugins send nothing to us. No telemetry, no analytics, no external requests, and nothing about your visitors ever leaves your site.
Buying a licence and activating it does send us data, because it has to: your billing details, and the address of each site a key is activated on. What we hold and for how long is in the privacy policy.

No warranty
The software is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, as the GPL sets out. We test it against supported WordPress and PHP versions and we fix what we find, but no plugin can promise to behave identically on every site, theme and plugin combination in existence.
You are responsible for your own backups, and for testing an update on staging before it reaches a site that matters.

Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything connected to a plugin or a licence is limited to what you paid for that licence in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost revenue, lost data or consequential loss.
Nothing here limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms
These terms can change, and the version in force for you is the one published when you bought or last renewed. A material change is announced by email to licence holders.
